Expectations

With communication as one of our core values, we have clear concise expectations of our staff:

• Perform all expected duties of a Licensed Funeral Director and embalmer including but not limited to:
  
  
  1. Follows direction of the Dispatch Department
  2. Prompt and respectful transport of the deceased
  3. Leading and directing staff on dispatched calls
  4. Maintaining professionalism in all interactions
  5. Embalming, dressing/casketing, ETC.
  6. Lead funeral services, make arrangements with family, process paperwork for permits and death certificates, ETC.
  7. Follow procedure and perform all duties up to Company Standards

Given the structure of our organization, there is some variability in income mostly defined by individual capacity and skill set; wages for a full time licensed funeral director and embalmer with us typically range between $72,000 and $96,000, but can enter into six figures for driven full time colleagues once established.

About You

1. A Licensed Illinois Funeral Director and Embalmer
2. Base Knowledge of all aspects of Funeral Directing
3. Ability to push, pull, and lift 150 lbs
4. 2 Years of Experience
5. Motivated to learn and grow as a Funeral Director and Embalmer
6. Superior communication and attention to detail
7. All licensed directors should be able to properly and safely perform any tasks assigned to them
