Embalming Chemicals in the Wild
The phrase “embalming chemicals” has a plethora of meanings used to describe everything from what we find in our prep rooms to a way to scare the general public. We all know about formaldehyde, but what about the dozens of other types of chemicals in our fluid bottles, and how they are used? In this lecture, we will differentiate between the categories of chemicals, explain their uses, and more importantly, identify where we find them in our everyday life and how they function.
